Carnival Feast and Masquerade Ball February 20, 2010 Shire of Fire Mountain Keep
Napavine, WA

The Shire of Fire Mountain Keep invites you to join us in Florence for a Carnival
Feast and Masquerade Ball on February 20, 2010 at Napavine High School in Napavine.

Please join us for a day of games, contests, mask making, entertainment, a 4-course
Italian Renaissance Carnival feast, and to top off the evening, a Masquerade Ball.

The site opens at noon and will close at 8pm. First Feast Course from the sideboard
will be served at 2pm with the First Course from the Kitchen to be served at 4pm.

FEAST MENU
First Service from the Credenza:
Sausages in Red Wine
Olive Tapanade
Sweet Pear Mustard Sauce
Marinated Tuna
Focaccia - Several types
Oil for dipping
Crostini di fagato - Chicken liver pate
First Service from the Kitchen:
Squash Soup
Braised Chicken with Artichokes
Risotto
Spinach Lasagna
Roasted Root Vegetables

Second Service from the Kitchen:
Mixed salat
Braised Beef with Red Wine
Marinated Pork Ribs
Marinated vegetable Relish
Polenta

Second Service from the Credenza:
Torta di Ricotta

Sweet Fritters
Apples and Pears
Cheese

The feast is limited, so get your registration in early. Mail your
pre-registration information and your check to the Feastocrat, including legal and
SCA names of those attending, membership number and expiration date, and contact
information.
The site fee will be $5 and the feast $10 for adults and $5 for children 10 and
under. The $3 NMS fee will apply. Checks should be made payable to "Fire Mountain
Keep - SCA, Inc."
